Eye
makeup has become the trendiest thing in makeup as it is all about your pretty
eyes. There are endless trends in eye makeup as eyes are the central part of
the face. But, eyes are also challenging as there are so many things to do with
tricks and tactics. From eyebrows to lower lashes, the whole area is small but consumes
a lot of time. There are many people who build eyes after doing all makeup as
eyes are the trickiest thing to do. There are many people with small eyes and
narrow crease due to which it is hard to their makeup.
There
are different eye makeup types these days; such as, dramatic look, cut crease,
cat eyes, gradient eye shadow, shimmery eye, Smokey eyes and many more. Eye
makeup is comprised of so many tools and products; such as, tints, primer,
concealer, eye base, eye shadows, highlighter, fake lashes, mascara, eye liner,
glitters, shimmers and so many. Day by day, more and more products are emerging;
such as, eyebrow gel, eyebrow powder, etc. New and innovative techniques and
ways are emerging and changing eye makeup trends.
There
are different levels of eye makeup; such as, beginner level, advanced level,
professional level and so forth. For beginners, starting with one or two eye
shadows is a perfect thing to do. Beginners need to practice perfect way of
blending to hone their skills. There are many people who apply too many shades
once that gives messy look in the end.
First,
apply eye primer as it helps to create a smooth eye surface and then apply eye
concealer on it. When you see that the eye surface is clear and smooth, then
start with 2-3 eye shadows. Start with practicing transition colors that help
build corner and crease of the eyes. After developing crease, apply shadow in
the eyelids. It is better not to apply any glitter or shimmer in the start.
Eyebrows
play major role in enhancing the eyes look. So, build eyebrows with the help of
tints, eyebrow gel, pencil, etc. Apply highlighter in the eyebrow bone that
will also help give uplifted look to the eyebrows. Match the color of the tint
or pencil with the color of your hair. Don’t go for too much black or don’t go
for too much brown.
For
highlighter, you can also use your face highlighter. Golden, bronze, white and
silver and other colors are used. For inner corner of eyes, use a golden or
silver highlighter that will help define the eyes more and also give younger
look to the eyes.
In
the inner corner of the eyes, apply white pencil for giving bigger look to the
eyes. If you don’t want to give big look to eyes, then you can apply a black
pencil in your eyes. Also, apply neutral colors eye shadows under lower lashes.
At
the end, comes mascara, false eyelashes and eye liner. If your lashes are not
big, then you can use false eye lashes. Applying lashes need a lot of practice
and it will take you time, but with tricks, you can learn it fast. Apply glue
and let it get tacky and then apply it on the lash line. Before applying
lashes, don’t forget to use mascara. If you don’t want to use false lashes,
then there are many mascaras out there that helps build volumes and long
lashes. Also, apply mascara in the lower lashes that also help to open up the
eyes and make them look bigger.
At
the end, eyeliner comes that is my favorite part. Eye liner plays the major
game in making eyes bigger and beautiful. There are many trendy types of eyeliners
these days; such as, winged, floating crease, fishtail, graphic arrow liner and
many more. If you are starter, then use pencil eyeliner to practice it perfectly.
There are many people that start using gel liners with the help of cut or
angled brushes that is tough for them in the beginning phase of makeup
learning.
One
of the important notes is that always use small and precise brushes for eye
makeup. If you use big brushes, then they will create mess. Also, always take
less amount and quantity of eye shadows before applying them. Don’t take too
much and always tap off the excess from the brushes. Additionally, if you want
to get more color of the highlighter, then trick is to dip the end of the brush
in the water and then apply highlighter in the inner corner of the eyes and
arch of the eyebrows.
