Smokey Eye Makeup
Smokey
eye makeup is a dramatic as well as tricky eye look that is time consuming to
achieve but it gives sultry and trendy look at the end. So, your efforts are
worth it. It is a wish of every girl and woman to do sultry Smokey eye makeup. Women
like to achieve this look as it gives alluring, seductive, and appealing look
to the personality. However, not every one of you knows how to achieve this
look, so we have come with the tricks and tips for you to do Smokey eye makeup
in no time.
As
Smokey eye makeup is done with the combination of dark eye shadows, so it is
tricky to handle it, so it don’t get too much dark and harsh.
The
first step is to apply primer to the eyes area. Primer makes sure that the eye
shadows are placed rightly and don’t mess around.
The
second important thing is to apply highlighter first on the inner corner of
eyes and brow bone before starting with eye shadows.
After
primer, apply brown eye shadow on the crease of the eyes to build crease and
use it on the outer corner of eyes as well. Blend them together and keep
blending as key is to blend it well.
After
blending brown color, Apply concealer on the eyelids of eyes and apply black
color on the eyelids of eyes.
If
you want a glittery Smokey eyes, then also add a bit of golden glitters on the
eyelids with gap. This is my favorite look. But, the complete Smokey eyes is
all about black eyes, but if you don’t want to go with complete black, then add
other dark colors; such as, dark olive, dark navy blue, plum and charcoal. As I
stated above, adding shimmer of these dark eye shadows give radiant and fresh
look.
The
next step is to apply eyeliner to the eyes. There are different eyeliner types.
Smokey eye makeup look is also achieved by just adding eye liner to the eyes.
So, since you have already applied eye shadows, so apply think line of eyeliner
on the upper lash line. On the outer corner of eyes, you can draw a thick line
that make eyes look bigger.
Also,
apply the brown and black color under your lower lashes to give sultry and
complete look. Smudge the shadow gently and don’t do it in harsh way. At the end, apply false eyelashes.
Since
you are playing with dark colors, make sure to use precise brushes and not big
and wide brushes. Also, take small amount of shadow while applying and always
tap of the excess.
