Religion Makeup
Religion makeup has
become a hot topic of this progressing world. There are different religions in
the world with their specific limitations, norms, values, morals etc. There are
many countries that don’t prefer and appreciate if woman wear makeup. In fact,
in this advanced timing, men are also moving towards makeup field.
For example,
Islam is such a religion where there is a restriction on the use of nail paints
because of the ablution and prayer act. If woman wear nail paints, then their
prayers don’t get accepted because of the lack of the cleanliness. In the same
way, there are religion limitations and restrictions that have shaped different
cultures and backgrounds.
On the contrary, many
religion have been using makeup from centuries and beginning eras as it is considered
to be a part of their spirituality. Makeup has basically originated from
ancient Egypt, they used makeup for their lips and eyes. Cleopatra, a famous
Egyptian princes, used lipstick produced from carmine beetles, and other
Egyptians woman used water and clay mixture for their lips.
It means that
makeup has always been a part of woman life from the beginning and it is not
something new. For early Europeans and Americans, Makeup and cosmetics have an
important moral messages. The ancients used natural makeup techniques, while it
has been produced through artificial ways nowadays.
Every religion
appreciates if woman wear makeup and look beautiful. However, increasingly, men
are emerging and trying to look like a female with the help of makeup that is
opposed by many religions and faiths. For example, Islam don’t encourage men to do
makeup and look like female. Additionally, for Muslims, companies are coming up
with Halal products in the form of nail paint, foundation, lipstick and many
more.
